13. First coating

After all the bracing is finished, the work has to be protected.
As the sand blasted surface was partly rusty again - especially in the pores - I gave the frame to the sand blaster again. He does as good job.
The frame looks clean and evenly mated--> Perfect base for rust protection.

At the same day the blasting job was done, I started to paint the whole frame with Brantho Korrux 3in1 in a light grey shade. This will be the first layer. The second  - and maybe the third if needed - layer will be in dark grey.
It was a mess to reach every corner and it was not a "one evening" job. My hand was flabby after 3 hours painting - the half of the frame.
Sand blasted again.

The axle got the same coating as the first layer.
